Our primary focus is solving your process control problems. If you have a control loop that is not working properly we can diagnose and solve the problem. Too much variability in key parameters can result in poor quality product, loss of utility and loss of efficiency. Sometimes the solution only requires improved PID tuning. Other times, the poor control can be caused by hardware problems.
We also can apply process simulation to diagnose and solve problems during the design phase. We can test new control approaches and process configurations. Another benefit is that we can provide pre-start-up PID tuning constants which have been proven to reduce commissioning time.

PID Tuning
Tuning Classes – We have developed and teach a PID controller tuning course. The one-day class has been given many times over the past ten years to over 100 students.
Tuning Applications - We have applied the methods that we teach to hundreds of industrial control loops using many different hardware platforms (e.g., PLC, DCS, SLDC and Hybrid Systems) in many different industries. We have developed a great deal of expertise in doing dynamic testing on running processes without causing significant upsets. |
